CEPI focuses its efforts and resources in support of policy research, analysis, and service to education policy-makers and schools. Services include but are not limited to:

• conduct of research and scholarly activities such as “White Papers,” expert dialogue symposia, and surveys.
• support for education boards, legislators and the Governor’s office on research and policy analysis.
• brokerage of network and research teams on policy issues.
• service as a clearinghouse for local, state, and national policy information including a Web site and referral services.
• sponsorship of seminars, conferences, worksh ops, and training institutes on specific policy issues.
• policy support services to school divisions and educational policy-makers including policy audits, law and policy institutes, and staff policy training for in-service, college credit and continuing educational units.
